Shipping & Returns
Orders are shipped via UPS or motor carrier. Physical addresses (no P.O. Boxes) are required for delivery. We must have a street address. Any discrepancies between order and delivered products (shortages, overages or damages) should be reported to the carrier and us immediately.
Your complete satisfaction is our goal every day at IBEX Grows. In the event that you need to return a product, our policies are as follows.
We will accept a return of our products for a refund of your purchase price, less the original shipping and handling cost, provided such return is made within thirty (30) days of delivery and provided such products are returned in their original condition and accompanied by proof of purchase. To return products, you must call 1-800-506-6615 extension 806 or email our customer service department at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number before shipping your product. No returns of any type will be accepted without an RMA number.
You are responsible for all shipping and handling charges on return items. You bear the risk of loss during shipment. We therefore strongly recommend that you fully insure your return shipment against loss or damage and that you use a carrier that can provide you with proof.
Refunds are processed within approximately five (5) business days of our receipt of your merchandise. Your refund will be credited back to the same payment method used to make the original purchase.
Plant Care & Soil Nutrition
If you order a premium hop kit, you will also receive a nutrient plan along with your shipment of hop plants. This plan will give you guidance on caring for your hops.
As soon as possible since kits are limited in supply and can get sold out by late spring.
Plants are shipped according to your hardiness zone. When you place an order, we list the best shipping dates for your zone. You pick the week and we ship the plants on Monday or Tuesday so that you will receive them by Friday.
This will depend on your zone but in general Spring (early March through the middle of May) to get a harvest your first year.
Yes, we strive to bring you the best hop plants on the market today. Our plants are sourced from the clean plant network and we grow out at our nursery in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We provide you with the most complete instructions for success and deliver your plants to you on time. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your order please notify us immediately. We want you to be 100% satisfied. Please note we cannot ship hop plants to Hawaii, Alaska, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, nor Canada.

No. You will only receive female plants.

You will get plants that are 2 – 3 years old so that you can harvest hops your first year while rhizomes are pieces of plant roots with buds/nodes on them that will only grow the first year and not produce any hops for 1-2 years.
Each variety breaks dormancy at different times in the spring. Be patient and they will grow. Be careful not to over-water the plants and cause them to rot.
Dogs can get very sick if they eat hops. However, raw hops that are still on the bine are bitter and should not be attractive to a dog. The vast majority of issues have been from dogs having access to and eating spent hops and grains (which can taste sweet). Breeds that are the most susceptible to hops toxicity: include Greyhounds, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Saint Bernards, Pointers, Dobermans, Border Collies and English Springer Spaniels.
